The general structure consists of two parts. In the first a comprehensive description and analysis of the current situation is conducted. Particular attention will be given to the determinants of competitiveness, how they have evolved over time and how they have shaped the position of companies and countries in selected EU agri-food chains. These finding are used in the second part to discuss possible future developments and to deduce policy recommendation.
The project management and coordination (WP1) comprises the scientific, administrative and financial management of COMPETE, which will ensure that the project runs smoothly and successfully.
